European progammes (excluding H2020)

The new operational programme of the 2014-20 European fund for regional development is at the service of the 2020 European strategy for intelligent, durable, sustainable and inclusive growth.

The mission of the National Agency for research (ANR) is to promote collaborative research in Europe and in the world and to support emerging high-level research partnerships. The ANR aims to contribute to building a European space for research. Its actions complement the Horizon 2020 programme, the European Commission's financing vehicle.

To reach these objectives, the ANR proposes four types of international tools :

  • to simplify and reinforce researchers' bilateral partnershipslnternational collaborative research projects (PRCI) are available as part of the agency's general annual call for projects.
  • to simplify and reinforce researchers' bilateral and multilateral partnerships on targeted themes or disciplines: specific European and international calls for projects are published by the ANR (e.g.: Era-net).
  • to facilitate invitations to France of world-renowned researchers: a financing instrument dedicated to "invitations open to world-class researchers" (ACHN) is put into use through specific annual calls for projects.
  • to strengthen the influence of French research on the European and international scenes: an instrument to "build European or international scientific networks" (MRSEI) is also used through specific calls for projects.

The Department of Research and Valorisation (DRV) will be pleased to provide information on future calls for projects, such as:

LIFE + 2014-2020 programme, Interregional programme for the Alps mountain range (POIA-FEDER), transborder cooperation programme, INTERREG MED 2014-2020 programme, Alcotra, INTERREG IV C, Espace Alpin, Italie-France Maritime, IEVP 2014-2020 programme, Europaid programme, ESPON 2020 programme (European Observation Network for Territorial Development and Cohesion)
